6 more attempts. Dungey had a lot more receiver drops as well. Also, Dungey hits receivers in stride - Mahoney not so much.
Edit: Dungey is 5-0 and mahoney 3-1. Dungey averages 11.9 per attempt and Mahoney 4.1.

Yeah I was just surprised to see that as much as we've all been pleased with Dungey's quarterbacking he really hasn't thrown the ball all that much.

Yes, and I think that will change in the next two games unless they can't stop our run/option game.
I must say that Lester's offense is unfolding exactly as advertised. Run first using play action combined with West Coast style passing. The key is being able to go over the tip every now and then.

Guess we will be looking for dual QBs from now on.
Feel sorry for Wilson who was recruited by FHCDM for pro style O.

Nope, draw the defense in and drop it over the top. His YPA is high, but, his YPC is pretty ridiculous. It will even out over time for Dungey, the more comfortable he gets moving forward the more he'll throw. It's still the offenses objective to be a little more run heavy though.

lesters comment about how each really started to grow when they got the game prep snaps is telling. have to think wilson will be the #3 unless long really gets healthy.. if it was me i would get long going on the scout team to get his throws up since that is the issue he needs to fix.

dungey and the offense took a huge leap from week 1 to 2 and so did mahoney. that is a great sign and would expect each to continue that trend in the next 2 weeks.

I am not so sure. Long might do OK with this offense. Wilson is a pro style QB and is now the odd man out. Nice to have a battle for #2.

Yeah, I'm not sure what to make of him. It seems like this last week in particular we've gotten mixed messages regarding his availability.

Yeah, we had battles for number one and were questioning results. Now we have a battle for number two without the sense of urgency. Can we put away the antacids now?

I really wish we had dungey for the first half. Lots of open receivers and Mahoney kept missing short passes. I lost count how many throws came up way short. Really wish ish caught the ball in the end zone. I know he was falling back but man that would have been awesome
