But when Marrone came in, there were several GRob recruits that he deemed to not be what the program was looking for, and their offers were rescinded. Lemon passed muster, and Marrone re-extended an offer to him. Therefore, he is a Marrone recruit. Grob was gone before Lemon set foot on campus, before he even signed his LOI. There wasn't 1 second of Lemon's entire collegiate career where he wasn't coached by Marrone, the coach who ultimately offered the opportunity for him to play at SU.

Well lets see--when Marrone and staff came in after the season / when grob was fired--not an ideal time to make up ground on the recruiting trail--they assembled a pretty solid first class of contributors, which included flipping commitments from Wake Forest, two from Louisville, a junior college transfer, etc. Your question is--would Marrone have found Lemon. Who the knows--but they didn't leave any stone unturned. Arundel, Maryland isn't that far away from Virginia, where we snagged Shamarko / Sharpe late.
