Official 2025 New York Football Giants Thread: A New Hope

NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports X-rays on Giants LB Micah McFadden (foot) came back negative.
This is good news for McFadden, who was carted off the field while sporting an air cast in the first quarter of Sunday’s game. The fourth-year linebacker was spotted in a boot later in the day, but his X-rays coming back negative suggests he may have avoided the worst. We’ll likely get a full update on McFadden’s status early in the week, but his absence could be shorter than initially expected.

Anybody just watch that opening drive? I’ve never seen anything like it. Hudson on the O-line had 4 penalties in 5 snaps. Yet they still left him in. Absolute train wreck.

Ugh. NYG had 3 chances to win that game. And blew them all.

I had high hopes when Daboll and Schoen were hired, but man there is just no discipline on this team. Bowen is just such a horrible DC.
I am anxiously awaiting the end of the Daboll era.

Should have ended after last year, but Schoen hired him, so...

Brian Daboll is not the answer.
The offense has no creativity. If you watched Chicago vs Dallas today, they ran a flea flicker, some reverses and some other gadget plays. I'm not saying they offense needs to get all gimmicky, but the Dallas defense must be real bad, considering how effective they looked last week. Not so against a real coordinator.

They need to clean house, not stopping at just Daboll/Schoen but also Chris Mara, McDonnell, and Abrams

Just one more step in the (hopefully) soon-to-be-over Daboll/Schoen regime.

Oh, and by the way, Daniel Jones is now 3-0 with the Colts.

Malik Nabers was carted from the Giants’ Week 4 game against the Chargers with a right knee injury.

Leaping to make a potential down-field catch in the second quarter, Nabers’ right leg buckled as he planted to leap. He was then seen grabbing his knee in mid-air before coming down. The Giants immediately called for the cart. Nabers put a towel over his head as he was being taken to the locker room.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Malik Nabers is “believed” to have torn his right ACL in Sunday’s game against the Chargers.
