He can apply, but unless he can prove he was forced to redshirt in 2014 due to "circumstances beyond his control", it probably won't be approved.

Remember, Terrel Hunt was denied for the same thing.

Usually the story doesn't become public on injuries until it is released by the university. That is not to say a lot of folks didn't know back in June when it happened.

It seems arbitrary... Play your 1st year, but then have a couple injury years, then maybe.

Redshirt your 1st year, then get injured later. Ohh wait, my first year, I just remembered I was actually injured. Then maybe.

Not always, but seems like for 6 years, they'd prefer 2 injuries..

In part 2, seems Ed Davis received a 6th, that doesn't line up with the previous examples.
