The last few pages were difficult to read.I hope he makes a full recovery and has a long productive basketball career.
I also hate 2017 me for starting this thread.

I didn't know Ray Allen hated UConn. He should've played will his buddy JW. We put Kentucky in it's place in 1996 with those two teaming up.I hope he makes a full recovery and becomes a hall of famer who hates UConn, so he can be just like Ray Allen.

It’s so ridiculous - they haven’t even been good for most of the last 15 years, but every time they field a team with a pulse, they get hot and win the tourney. It makes no sense. They won the title last year. That was hilarious. Saw that coming after round 1.

Hardly any teams in the top 25 for any length of time, hardly any high seeds, hardly any league titles - largely a middle of the pack afterthought…..but 3 titles in like 13 years.
Last year’s UConn team really came together by the end of the season. They were talented and a true title contender. But they did have a favorable bracket and upsets along the way that made their path a lot easier. Their 2011 and 2014 titles, though, are complete jokes, a rip in the space-time continuum or a devils bargain that either one of those teams made the Final Four let alone won national titles. Meanwhile we have the bad fortune to lose our difference-making centers on all-time elite Cuse teams in both 2010 and 2012. Oh, and not to mention Keith Smart, running into an historically elite Kentucky team in the 1996 final, the bad bounces/luck vs Illinois in 1989, and the Lawrence Moten TO debacle in 1995. I get that all teams have bad luck March Madness moments, but UConn’s good fortune in the tourney has been insane and Cuse’s has often gone the other way.It also helps that when they get on a run 2 of the last 3 times the bracket parts like the red sea. Su goes in a run we run into UNC and Michigan these guys get like FAU and some 11 seed
Yup. 2010 and 2012 SU teams were both a lot better than 2011 and 2014 UConn.Last year’s UConn team really came together by the end of the season. They were talented and a true title contender. The 2014 title was partly the result of the committee trying so hard to stick it to Wichita St. that they imbalanced the other 3 regions. It also helps that when they get on a run 2 of the last 3 times the bracket parts like the red sea. I think he’s okay with them now. He went back to UConn and finished his degree this past June. Wonder if he’s contemplating coaching at some point. He was angry with them after they fired his buddy Kevin Ollie.
Not sure if he’s back on board or not.
Ollie tanked the program so they had some weird years and I imagine the AAC didn't help. Hopefully Red can do what's almost never done and elevate the program after a long time hall of famer. I'm optimistic about his recruiting but his coaching remains to be seen. The style he talks about sounds promising and should be more appealing to recruits as well. As far as Hurley goes, as much as I hate to admit it they will be a threat to win more titles as long as he's at the helm, including this year. It’s so ridiculous - they haven’t even been good for most of the last 15 years, but every time they field a team with a pulse, they get hot and win the tourney. It makes no sense.

Yes. It’s embarrassing. Somewhere in here some wrote about UCOnn getting lucky 5 times, with 3 different coaches.FAU (they didn't play them) will be ranked higher than Syracuse this year.
On another note, can this thread be retired already?

It’s one thing to say SU has been unlucky. It has. But UConn is a superior program to SU.

Are you required to read it? You could simply ignore it
Yeah, I never ever got reading a thread that upset you/pissed you off/etc.If you don't like threads addressed towards people's dislike and poking fun at other programs then hit ignore.
Right now we’re not in the same stratosphere.I FREAKING HATE UCONN! How long until we are back in the promised land?
