The ACC has been well known for many years to have some of the worst officials in all of FBS.

That said, the horrible officiating is the least of our problems.

i don't have the replay in front of me, but the ref will prevent the ball from being snapped if the offense tries a late substitution, to give the defense a chance to substitute. If the offense does it late, then the offense is flirting with the delay call. Perhaps Syracuse subbed a player late? It's the only thing I can think of.

That delay of game was beyond bizarre, but Don Cherry is (not) in charge so not unexpected.

If the only reason you don't make a change because you can't afford to, might as well drop the program, because you'll never be able to hire the guy you need when you can afford to make a change.

Sadly, it seems even the players share this opinion. They seem lifeless out there. The return of the Gerg "Here we go again!" look that was a mainstay during his last few years.

Not so sure about that. Coyle has a free pass this year. Shaf is not his hire. This is his first year. He can go into next year, knowing from Game1 that he's making a change. From his perspective, I think that might be the safer route.

Dungey running for his life and we have one Div 1 BCS level WR our there with Ishmael. Estime and Erv are gadget guys trying to play WR. This teams needs new blood at WR and TE desperately. Moore and the other TE are both Juniors where is the depth? WR is worse we have no depth and brought in zero WR's last year and have one 2 star committed this year and zero Te's. Unbelievable.
