Duke, UNC, NCSt all played home games today. Evey game was a cluster fluck because of the weather. I didn't expect much all things considered.

How about the defensive coaches? Not really good at the other schools as our players are so far out of position on many plays and these kids can not be all this bad.

The secondary is pretty bad and young. Linebackers are good. Dline is super young and a bit undersized. Going to take time with this defense.

Some people seem to think it's like the NFL. If you suck, you just get a new coach, buy a couple free agents, and have a good draft. In other words, you can flip a team in 1 season. You select the pieces to fix the problem.
This is college. Players select you, and they may not even be the players you need to fix the problem. You can only work with what you have. Firing a coach every 3 years is a surefire way to spin your wheels in the mud of mediocrity.

Listen to the man talk, watch his sideline demeanor, here his plans. We are in year one and the man's track record gives me confidence.

I give the defensive coaches a chance to recruit guys for their system. These kids were recruited for a different system and this isn't the pros where they can learn fast. The has shown against equal talented teams they can compete but against fire power offenses give up quick scores.

Maybe, but we were trying to run the clock out anyway. We just got lucky that a running play finally worked.

Totally. I thought we would be lucky to win 5 games this year before the season started. Not enough talent especially on D (I just can't believe how small these guys are all over the place. On offense too), new system, etc. Not fair to judge Babers right now.
