The programs decline isn't because JB cant coach anymore. Its because we have not recovered from the loss of Hop who was almost as important to SU basketball as Jim. No disrespect but you dont replace Hop with Gmac. Going from one of the best assistant coaches, one of the most respected and trusted recruiters to Gmac isn't going to cut it and the results have been poor. At this point its too late. JB isnt going to change his staff and he isnt going to magically become a great recruiter himself. The best we can expect is a low seed, catch fire and make a run. The days of expecting a top 10 ranking and 5 seed or better are gone. Last point i turned down SU. Didnt go there. However i have 6 family members including my Father who did so hopefully that counts for something. Lets all pull for our beloved Orange to finish this year strong and for JB to get one more solid run in the next few years as he deserves it. [/QUOTE]
