Wheatley was never going to be a great te. We played against them and he was tough at te to defend but not at a D-1 level. Now he coulda been a de monster. I watched 3 hrs of tape on him his jr year I believe maybe soph year but anyways he had a natural instinct at dt de that he clearly doesn’t have at Te. Great nose for the ball.problem was he didn’t like de so there goes that.

Wheatley put on a ton of weight in college. I think he wanted to play te but weighed over 300 lbs.
