What a humdinger!
I missed most of the game but thankfully was able to see the last 8 minutes or so.
I think this team has learned how to win. Great composure down the stretch again. Really liked the decision to go to Alec on every freaking play of the final drive. No offense to guys like West, Wales and Sales, but they do not deliver like Lemon does. Don't know why they didn't double him...heck, on the last TD, they didn't have anyone on him (great call on that one by the way).
Nassib and Lemon have to be all conference now. Lemon has 989 yards on the season now. Pretty amazing given the slow start with injuries early.
Missouri is not a great team. They were missing their best defensive player, their starting QB was really messed up and their best returner was banged up too. Still, beating a good BCS program on the road is a huge achievement for this program. The corner we are trying to turn is a long one, and it has been hard to get through it, but if we aren't through it yet, we sure as hell are close.
Bowl bound. On the upswing. It feels great. Props to the staff and the team, especially the seniors, who seemed to make just about every big play down the stretch.
