And move up in the bowl pecking order in the process. This would be another small, but significant step up the ladder for our program. Conversely, losing to Temple in our final game as a BE member, just when SU football is starting to regain some legitimacy in the eyes of the sports world, would be a huge black eye.

The worst part of the conference realignment drivel is that 90% of it is wild speculation, rumors, twitter feeds, hypothetical scenarios, etc. that have no basis in reality.

I'm glad to see there are others who feel the same way I do, because I was starting to feel like a grumpy old man.
