Ohio State's QBs

With Winston, Mariota, Hundley, Prescott, Petty, Bo Wallace, etc. all going to the NFL, is it unreasonable to say that the three best returning QBs in college football next year are currently on Ohio State's roster? Who else would you take before Braxton/Barrett/Cardale? I can't think of a single guy.

Not just QB, they are loaded everywhere. Wouldn't surprise me to see them run the table next year, right through the playoffs. I can see why Michigan gave Harbaugh an offer he couldn't refuse. It might be the only way to stop the Urban machine.

Their fan support is pretty amazing too. There aren't a lot of non-southeast schools that can go toe to toe with Alabama in New Orleans. They had 50% of the crowd, and more of the noise.

God I hate them. Go Ducks.

Ohio is the largest state with only one major college football team that is also the state flagship university. There are no divided loyalties and it makes sense that they would have such a huge fan base.

That is insane. I can see when they completely take over Ryan Field at Northwestern. I mean, not a huge trip, and probably a ton of alumni in Chicago. But Berkeley for a yawn-ish type non conference game like that?

I remember Nebraska taking over South Bend in 2000, that was one of the more impressive things I've seen fanbase do. Not for distance of trip, but for where they did it. This is one shot I found. I just remember watching that game and there was red everywhere.

I think the commercial they ran last night said there are something like 500k alumni. Then, like you said all the Ohioans that are simply fans.
