All Syracuse 1st half. All opponent 2nd half.
The first 5 minutes of the 2nd half was a killer. Blew a 10 point lead. Just what you can't do.
All you need to do is not get out scored by more than 9 in the 2nd half and we couldn't do it.

Realistic chance at avoiding a losing season? Surely you aren’t referring to a realistic chance of making the NCAA? At this point, the ceiling for this team is avoiding a losing season

There is so much movement idk if you can even develop anymore.

I feel like a few years ago during Girard freshman year we were talking about how good the team would be in a few years. Two years later the only guys left are Girard and Buddy.

Absolutely correct. Its 2 weeks before Christmas and we won't be playing in the Ncaa tourney. This was the biggest game of the year. It was a must win. The experts believe the ACC will only get 5 teams in the tourney this year because of poor play out of conference . We should enter conference play 7-5. 19 conference games and if go 11-8 the rest of the way, we would finish 18-13. 1-1 in ACC and then its 19-14. Thats not good enough. Raise your hand if anyone thinks this team can go 11-8 the rest if the way? I do but it won't be good enough to finish top5 in the league. The OP is correct. I will watch every game and root and scream but we are screwed. I use to be totally out of my mind mad when we lost 2 games b4 Jan 1st. We've lost 5. Buddy has clanked us to this point and Joe and Jesse need bigtime applauding for what they've done . They have improved as much as anyone outside of Rak that Ive ever seen. But the construction of this BYU type team with just one guy who can make a 3 is a total headscratcher. Why didnt we hit the portal and get a rebounder after Q announced is beyond me.

They best we can do OOC is 6-5, with a few bad losses and only 1 good win (Indiana).

This team isn’t going 13-7 in the ACC. It’s December and our bubble is severely deflated, almost popped.

Again, the ceiling for this team is finishing above .500 and avoiding JB’s first losing season. At this point that should be considered a success. It will gone down as JB’s worst team and worst season. The only question is if he tries to double down next year or decides to hang it up this year. We’re at the end of the road but the bus is still driving in circles.

if they won today they would have been right on pace to be a bubble team, assuming they go their usual right around .500 in conference play. they woulda had 2 true road wins already against power 5 teams, and a home win against indiana. now they really gotta have a good acc record to have a shot, which most likely aint happening.
