I am too but i dont think our Db we have can line up with the best in the country or we wouldnt have played so much soft zone. We need a lockdown guy and i do think it could be kerr but as a jr. So so much to learn at that position cause even if u are an amazing athlete, one technique mistake andits a td. I believe Kerr could be a williams honestly. Still need 2 backers and 1 lockdown guy. The playoff teams we are playing wanna run the ball so we gotta stop the run period with our front Six guys. If or when we do that then i know we are DART cause thats a top ten team.

I think incoming frosh Eric Thomas (from powerhouse Miami Northwestern HS & had multiple SEC offers including UGA & Ole Miss) & his older brother Chris (who’s in the portal from Marshall & is believed to be following) both have the size & pedigree to contribute at DT next year. Chris might even start.

We need his brother. Honestly we could lose 3 dt again with the gauntlet we have to face so to have 3 sets of dt would be perfect.

Me too. He misses home and for somekids thats hard to get over but it depends on his parents. I would say u picked that place and coach is trying to make u betterandi would tell him to stay as a dad not an su dad. Now if it was a sheet show then i would say bounce but nothing comes easy that is good for u. Fight thru it and u will prosper.

I just don’t know who’s coming in to play corner and who’s coming in to play safety. Coaches are really excited about

Or Fran has more faith in his guys he recruited for the '24 season going into the '25 season than you do.

He pulled in one of our best recruiting classes in a while, between transfers and recruits. Then he followed it up with a nice class for '25. Some of those guys are already practicing with the team.

It was obvious some of our guys just weren't any good and needed to be upgraded last December.

It is far less obvious this December.

Thus, Fran and his coaches can take their time through the bowl practices and the spring, then target players where they need them at the next portal period.

Plus, most players portalling from playoff and late bowl teams can't even declare yet, unless they want to piss of their current coaches and get left out of their present teams games.

I 100% get your point but to win a championship as he wants our class will take a while. Even Georgias 5* guys mostly dont kill everyone in year 1-2. yes they have monsters that do but not everyone. Our kids who arent 5 guys have potential but 2-3 years down road. Am i wrong in this theory.

You're right about the players needing development... If Fran doesn't see transfer players as an upgrade, he'll just roll with the young guys.

I suspect more movement will occur in both directions after the bowl game.
