Speaking of Michigan, Brady Hoke said today that within 3 years the BE and ACC would no longer be.

Brady is simply theorizing that the arctic ice melt will cause ocean levels to rise to the level of wiping out most of the eastern seaboard. If it's not that, then he is a freaking moron.

I'm going to say moron, what the saying better to keep your mouth closed and look stupid vs. opening your mouth and confirming it.

I read that and honestly thought it was the most useless of all useless comments in the expansion mess. I wonder what the players at Washington State think will happen? That will be the next story.

Not quote true. He said the BE and "maybe the ACC.". The quote was also in response to a question that posed the scenario of FSU and Clemson leaving the ACC.

The quote on ESPN.com did not fully explain the context of Hoke's quote.

recruiting talk...kill the teams you can recruit against.

SO...is it a done deal that Oklahoma will be going to the Big10?

Yes, here is my not based on reality prediction/fantasy. Oklahoma and Kansas are going to the B1G. PAC-12 takes OK. St and Texas. Big XII crumbles like a house of cards. ACC poaches Baylor and WVU.

Why would the ACC want Baylor? They already passed on WVU as well.

ND to the ACC and UConn with them.

124 teams playing Div 1 football 4x 16 = 64 meaning 60 teams get leftout. There is no chance of that going through, without congress and lawsuits. A 5 x 16 for 80 teams at least has a chance, because all the schools from new big 6 would be in and the independents.

Would love this to happen, but I don't see anything legit here. If the shoe were on the other foot I'd say it sounds like conference homers hoping their own confernce doesn't get raided. Would love to be wrong but I don't smell an ounce of truth here.

• On the future of conference realigment:
“I think really in about three years you’ll see four super conferences, and I think the Big East will go away and maybe the ACC. But look, I’m just a coach. I don’t know all of it.”

I'm sure the the ACC will collapse in the next 3 years...it's core has been intact for six decades.

The whole point of super conferences is to leave schools out and break away from them. Otherwise they wouldn't go through the process. They want the Top 64 to breakaway from everyone else and create their own system and get their own paydays away from the group. That's the entire point of this!!

And the rest can sue and have lawsuits all they want it won't work. It's going to be much like a High School system. Where you have your CLASS A, CLASS AA, and Class AAA to break up the schools. Nobody is being "left out" so to speak. Just everyone won't be invited to the Big Boy Table.

No sure the analogy fits. High School classes are based upon population, so everyone is treated with the same criteria. There is no similar criteria that college football is using, other than to say "we are a big boy, you are not". That's too arbitrary and won't fly in Congress, especially when all of these schools are taking public money.

It absolutely will fly. They already have the system set up with Div IA and DIV IAA (or whatever the new terms they use are). It's just adding a new tier inbetween.

But Div1A (FCS) and DivII schools can move up if they want to put the money into it (scholarships). What mechanism will there be for that some opportunity if the "Big 4" break away?

It appears UT is ready to sign away GOR for 13 years...how does OU respond?
