Slayton was a DE coming into Syracuse - this would be a sneaky good get for SU. I really like his athletic ability. Appears to have the athleticism to play at a P5 school.

The gamble Syracuse is taking is that he will not be able put on the “healthy” weight needed to play inside. He may not be quite twitchy enough to play on the edge, and therefore we get stuck with a ‘tweener type.
Man the juxtaposition of our worrying about him not putting on "healthy" weight way back in the day and us finally getting him as transfer offensive tackle at 325 is crazy man.

When was the last time SU got a commitment from a 6-6 325# DL?

When was the first time?
Man the hits just keep on coming when looking back 6 years ago. He is the 6'6 325 pound guy we got a commitment from now.
