Class of 2020 OL Jaden Muskrat (AR) Portal from Tulsa to Auburn

Looks like he's garnering big offers, per this article:

But hopefully we have an advantage / an "in" due to Steve Farmer being hired to coach OL here this past offseason.

A lot of tough competition. Hopefully he wants to reunite with Farmer

On Tuesday, Tulsa transfer offensive lineman Jaden Muskrat posted on Twitter that he received an offer from the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Muskrat (6-3, 307) played in 20 games during his three-year career at Tulsa. He started in 11 games at right tackle last season, allowing just three sacks in 848 snaps.

Since Muskrat entered the NCAA Transfer Portal on Saturday, Auburn, California, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Arkansas and Cincinnati have offered. He has three seasons of eligibility remaining.

Muskrat, who is originally from Choctaw, Okla., moved to Arkansas for his senior year of high school. At Bentonville West, he was listed as a two-star prospect, the No. 205 defensive lineman in the country,

As others have noted, he emerged as a starter last year, the year Steve Farmer took over as the Tulsa OL coach. Guessing they have a strong relationship and even with the many offers he has, we have a great chance to sign him. He was on Tulsa’s two deep at OG and OT but he started at RT last year. Sounds like he plays both positions.

Edit: Just saw that RF posted this article well before me. Apologies for the redundancy...

Amazing these days; played 3 seasons, with 3 years eligibility left.
Such a premium on OL in the Portal right now; surprised more kids don't enter.

This would really be a great pickup and if somehow Reed clears now we are talking an oline that has some potential.

Need Reed to get here this summer, no question. Disappointed that he wasn't able to transfer in this semester, to participate in spring practice and accelerate his readiness for this fall.
