Worth noting that his Jr highlights are against teams ranked 25, 46,47, and 108 in PA last year. Pretty high level competition.

Have to assume Penn State is the leader from this part of the world despite not knowing anything about the kid personally.

Won’t hold my breath on this one but it would be nice to see us land a few more heavily recruited linemen this cycle.

We might get his fifth official visit. I guess you have no chance if we can’t get him to visit. Doesn’t sound promising.

Yeah usually when someone has 4 teams locked into OV's and you're one of numerous options for a 5th OV, probably isn't going to go your way.
especially when two SEC schools are in the running for that 5th visit...

Alabama and Missippi are both a long jump from Pennsy plus seems academics are important to him as well. We may be in with a shout for the 5th visit and from there never can tell. Cuse has the benefit of reasonable proximity as well as excellent education.

Never tire of hope, possibilities and fortuitous alignments. Could this be the case here?

Kids from that part of PA, when they have an offer, almost always go to PSU. Those Rucci kids are odd outliers, particularly since they are legacies, but PSU didn't offer the older brother, and maybe that didn't sit well with the younger.

Also, about a decade back, Pitt had that coup under Wanny when a bunch of really good Harrisburg areas kids shunned PSU (think it was due to McCoy politics though).

Yeah they both headed to Wisconsin so you're probably right on that one, or simply maybe the brothers wanted to play together and PSU didn't afford them that opportunity.

But yeah, generally speaking, if you're from that area and have a PSU offer, really hard to compete with that.
