I agree with your point to an extent. Average annual snowfall in Madison is 42”. Syracuse is 124”. Pretty big difference.

Madison hit -26 (actual) multiple times this winter but Syracuse hit a low of -7 once so we have that going for us.

It shouldn't hurt when we're recruiting Michigan or Wisconsin or Ontario/Quebec.

Recruiting Florida or Georgia or the Carolinas is a different story.
