Nobody has been more critical of the OL the past several seasons than I've been, and I was particularly critical of them in that 250+ post thread yesterday.
Am I glad to eat those words today! What a terrific freaking performance from the OL yesterday. Yes, I know that some of it had to do with the scheme we were facing / matchups, but I hope this is something for the OL [and indeed the entire offense] to build around.
Graham--emerging as a tremendous playmaker.
Nassib--I guess that puts to rest the notion that all he can do is throw slants. As he demonstrated last night, when he's got time to throw, he can be more than adequate.
Provo--too bad he was hurt so often in his career, because he is a weapon. Kid had a great game.
Bailey / Smith / AAM--got the job done, and had some nice success when we needed to get a yard or 2 or 3.
And it was all predicated upon the OL dominating at the LOS.
What a win, what a great morning to be an SU fan!!
