So, what time is he announcing?
And more importantly, when will we actually get the announcement? Should I just check the board tomorrow morning?

Oh, and Happy Birthday to SUFaninNJ! I hope you have a Payne-ful day!

(If not, just stare at your Avatar...it's a nice consolation prize, and you can decide whether or not you want a "participation" trophy;))
Thanks Doc!

Payne and Hughes would be a nice haul … there may be another big get down here considering a decommit and giving Cuse a long look which would really be nice.

Florida State’s contract reportedly includes a clause that allows them to void or revise a deal if an athlete’s injury materially impacts their NIL value. Another gives the school the ability to extend a player’s contract without renegotiating, regardless of performance. Penalties for lost equipment or behavioral violations run as high as $2,500.

In theory, these protections serve the university. In practice, they put every athlete at risk of being turned into a line item on a risk management spreadsheet.
Are the players not hiring attorneys to review these contracts?

I really think there needs to be some sort of standard NCAA NIL contract with widely known and understood provisions. And then anything other than that contract gets reviewed

I do not think the ncaa is going to get involved in contracts. That’s between the player and the university. All these players have agents. It’s a business now.

Not sure but sounds like Coach Prime will be the one reeling him in
Coach Prime needed very good pass blockers like Payne when Shadeur was his QB. Because of the poor Colorado pass protection, Sanders was sacked more than any other QB that is why Prime realizes he needs players like Payne for pass protection

Ehhhh... Shitter held the ball way too long trying to make hero plays. Can't fault the OL for all of that although he and his dad might

Sounds like Colorado has momentum, but I wouldn't count Fran out.

And I believe Payne has CNY ties originally, so...
I think he end up with us.. no inside info. Nice big OL. Need to win in the trenches to get into the CFP and compete.

The longer this goes the better. This morning it was a sure thing he was going to Colorado. If there is a delay... maybe the delay is because of a change? Or maybe that's wishful thinking.
