The issue is - the vast majority of the handful of players each year from NYS who "can play" - choose not to do so at SU.
They end up going to other schools, like ND, PSU, Clemson, FSU, etc, etc, etc.

We can recruit the daylights outta them, but if they don't want to play for Syracuse, then it doesn't matter.

I hope this kid remembers who his first offer came from when its time to commit. He looks like a real good one.
