Wow.Perfect spot for Chris Beard to resurface.
Beard whipped his last Ole Miss into shape, I expect he’ll do the same here.
More like, can you win the SEC?, yes, your hired.Ole Miss hiring criteria
Are you actively committing a crime at this moment?
No?
You’re hired!
Welcome to Ole Miss.
That’s very, very funny.Ole Miss hiring criteria

Welcome to Ole Miss.
Let me be clear, I am not condoning what was alleged.
But man, innocent until proven guilty is completely gone in todays society. Anything that comes out, the individual is immediately guilty even if charges are not pressed and the full details of the situation never come out.
Again, not condoning anything. But drinking was probably involved. She said she started it and then he defended himself but never strangled her. She said in the police report she was strangled. Is it possible she was super upset and made something up initially at 1215 in the morning? Is it possible she was hurting and thought Something happened and as time went on realized that it played out slightly different than what she portrayed? Is it possible that it did indeed happen and she decided to speak out and protect him?
All these are very plausible. And I hope that she finds the help she needs if something did indeed happen. And he then should be prosecuted and be banished. But until that point, I think it’s extremely unfair to think he should never have a job again.
You’re not wrong about how these are handled. I think because we’ll never know the real details, and there is likely a lot of money involved, it’s easy to believe the original accusation that she retracted. Not saying it’s fair.Let me be clear, I am not condoning what was alleged.

I never said people can’t have an opinion. I just think it’s a little rediculous for people to say he should never coach again or dismiss a school for hiring someone when all the details are not known. The guy is a hell of a college basketball coach. Schools are concerned about winning. My point, without knowing all the details I don’t see an issue with hiring this guy.Innocent until proven guilty is a criminal legal standard that has absolutely no bearing on the ability of people to have an opinion. Society doesn't need to abide by it and people are fully entitled to their opinions as to someone's guilt or innocence.
