Did some basic google homework and as expected teams with strong olines have the best passing and running teams.
The last two years Eric has had mediocre oline support and still posted good numbers. With better protection, one extra second, WRs magically become more productive, running backs seem faster and QBs are extremely accurate. Lets hope our oline is as improved as everyone is predicting. If so i think that we are going to put some serious numbers.

Good stuff, but we need wrs to step up and show with conviction, that they can lineup and read the coverage and run the correct route, which ED will also be looking for. We have guys that can run and catch, we need them to get the O.

Always said your offensive line is the engine of the entire team. Get that right and a lot of things will go right

Ask any secondary player if they want to cover receivers for a second or two more during each passing attempt and see what their answer is. WR's have to keep working and ED has to keep his head up looking for them because I have no doubt the OL and RB's will be doing their job.

Still...for the life of me...can't understand why Donte and Moe don't get more dump offs when ED's under pressure when they are there to block. Both have good hands and can make something happen in the open.

I think the easy answer is that Dungey takes off instead of dumping it off. For better or worse, he puts the team on his back.

Maturity is needed by him then. I get the team on my back thing but SU needs him on the field plus he has talent to drop the ball off to. This to me is why Nassib was smarter, he knew that. Yes, I know ED is a heck of an athlete and competitor but he has to realize there are 10 out there with him and let's add if he has any dreams of moving to the next level he can not continue to do the same things over and over again...he has to expand his game.
