Other than seeing the Crimson Tide and Saban losing is such an epic fashion - the next best part of the ending was seeing the expressions on the faces of all the goober Alabama fans! There was even a "Duke" type shot of a dad with his son who was crying his eyes out.

I think he stepped out of bounds, I'm surprised Alabama didn't challenge. I think his left foot - after the right foot was questionable - was out though they might not have had a good view of it.

I laugh too until I realize I was that kid in '67 when Dallas lost the Ice Bowl. At least I moved on to punching holes in walls after I hit 14 yrs old.

Just saw the replay on TV. The guy went the distance because Alabama had all fat guys on the field except the kicker and holder.

So I was in the car for the 2nd half of our game (which was cool to hear Matt Park and Gedney get thru that ending).

Then I was flipping between both Bama and Auburn coverage of the 4th quarter. On that last play, I happened to be on Bama coverage. It was so calm and quiet, I almost wasn't paying attention. "And Davis looks like he is going to run it back and Auburn will win and so I'm going to go home and take a bath with my toaster" It sounded like Steven Wright was calling it. So I immediately switch to the Auburn coverage and I'm 99% sure one of those two guys had a heart attack. One guy kept screaming what are you doing next week, the other kept screaming oh my god oh my god oh my god. Every time they tried to inhale it sounded like Lloyd Christmas making the most annoying sound ever.

Very entertaining.

I grew up disliking Auburn because of Pat Dye and the Sugar Bowl. However, once I earned enough rank to be allowed to leave Fort Benning on weekends while I was stationed there, Auburn was only 45 minutes away. You could go there without needing a pass. I ended up spending a lot of memorable weekends there, including the SU Auburn game in 2002. For those reasons, I have a bit of a soft spot for Auburn now. Very happy for them.
