On a Good Note

Great, I'm glad for him.

However, for our guys on another hard fought game that ended in a loss...

On a good note...

- Cooney: showed a warrior type attitude and play that I wish others could emulate. Just a few weeks ago, many were wishing he was on the bench. What a player - just imagine if he had more help.
- Xmas: what a dominant big man he is. I don't know what else to say but unbelievable. He's a beast and a testament to hard work and damn right determination. I will always be a huge fan of his no matter where his professional career goes. I just love the guy.
- G: I wish for a little more but still, hard working and gritty player. Great to have him in Orange than that wretched blue. Love his play and like Cooney, with a little help, his game would be incredible. It's hard when we're playing 3 or 4 on 5 offensively.
- Kaleb: can't wait to see how he continues to grow throughout his career. Thrusted into a position too soon but had to take it. Doing well considering and will only get better. Getting better which is great to see.
- Roberson: what a rebounding beast. If he would make more of those mid-range jumpers, that will be the difference maker. He did make more tonight which was great to see. I'm a Big fan of his and just love how he attacks the boards like no one else I've seen in a long time.
- Patterson: does a great job feeding xmas - once he gains his confidence, those jumpers will fall - unfortunately, it may not happen his year. However, he looks like he could really emerge into a special player.
- Johnson: Lost (great player obviously - if you have followed his game you can see that but now, he is playing like a guy scared to make a mistake - I still believe he had a LOT to offer the team).

Still opportunities left that we can capitalize. Games like tonight and Miami, you can see how close we are (against very good teams). We just need to get over the hump, and do it VERY soon. Record, upcoing schedule, possible ban... I'm still in!! -it!

You know, I get your point here and all, but there are literally a dozen other threads you could have posted this in that are actually about the game. Someone started this thread to mention that Grant made a pretty awesome play tonight. It's not taking anything away from our team to say that. Why don't you go post this in the thread about Tyler Ennis, too?

I'm not trying to be difficult. I just don't really get why this was apparently the place to post this stuff (which I agree with). Not every thread needs to be about this current team.

By the way, just saw a stat on Twitter: Jerami has hit 12 of his last 23 three pointers. He's quickly developing into a pretty nice NBA player.

He's also become quite the shot blocker, which isn't surprising considering his length and athleticism.

Agreed. And you know what? This whole thing inspired me to write an update on Jerami's NBA career so far: http://.com/jerami-grant-is-starting-to-turn-heads-in-the-nba/

Very Good write up, I may be getting ahead of myself, but if Grant continues to develop the way he has been I could see Philly trading Noel for more picks. At this point he's shown that he's not a four and has been playing the 5, but with Embiid in the fold as the future five it would be hard for those two to coexist on the floor at the same time. Grant has showed the ability to play the forward spot and so far has been doing many of the things they though Noel would be able to do at that spot.

Good point and you're right... my bad. Just a little pissed that we blew another opportunity.
