One call that drove me crazy and I am ashamed of

my language.. Remember when Richmond came down and the guy went out of bounds and saved it to another
guy who then drilled the 3? Wasn't he out of bounds when he while lying on his back?
A-10 has different rules.

;)

Saw that too… ridiculous. And honestly the Mintz play was a charge. I know the Richmond player tried to avoid Mintz, but he was set. And there was enough contact.
Mintz ruined it by leaning into the guy to draw as much contact as possible. He was set and was outside the restricted area before the guy took off. It was definitely not a block. I think it was a play on.

That Mintz play wasn’t a charge.
I think him being a help defender + the movement = no charge, correct? There’s some rule change that impacts help versus primary defender

it pertains to the restricted area. primary defender, restricted area doesn't exist. Help defender, it exists.

If I recall the same play:
A) he did look OB;
B) I think we got away with a foul or two, which caused the OB.

i could be wrong because there was a lot of commotion at home but there was an obvious foul on a girard 3 that they missed that might've resulted in another point for us

He kicked his leg out. I think that’s why there was no call.

I think they swallowed the whistle on the out of bounds because they know they missed a foul. By rule I think Mintz was a block but that should be a play on. I think Girard should have been called for a foul on the kick out - thought that was a point of emphasis this year.

Fair. I hate that cheap crap. I thought he was fouled up high and didn't notice what he did with his leg.

i'm still mad about him trying to sell a non existent foul so much that he lost the ball in the backcourt last year

I don't recall that play but I thought overall the officiating was pretty good. 12 fouls on each team. We got away with some, they got away with some. Not many called either way.

I thought Bells hustle play should've been a jump ball, they called him for a foul .....there was another sequence where I thought Benny, then Bell committed fouls and they didn't call anything. The one where Benny looked to have a hold of the guys arm as he's falling to the ground. That was a weird sequence.

Does that far too often, much like Paul Harris used to as well.

Perhaps. But fouls are missed all the time. Out of bounds calls aren't. And it led directly to a 3
Yeah, but it might have been subconscious on the ref that I am not calling you out of bounds after you got knocked on your ass.

That isn't doing his job. They got a 3 they wouldn't have got. And I'm not positive he was fouled by the way. But I know he was out of bounds
