If I donate to MLAX, the money ends up with Women's Volleyball.

Now I get that a rising tide lifts all boats, but what if I only care about the SS Gait & Thorpe.

It is specifically relevant to men's basketball. I'd guess there are many who have been waiting to contribute to support Gerry. Now many of that will be lost. Major missed opportunity. How long before the PTB realize this must be changed? Chancellor Haynie?

It doesn't take a genius to realize that the splits for the NIL funding will follow the splits for Rev Share, they should maybe specify that. But there is reasons they want to streamline this effort.

Why will it necessarily? How about NIL deals done by businesses? Do they have to go into a general pot or can they be done for specific sports and individuals?

It’s just a page within cuse.com. SU Football NIL had its own website. I would expect them to have a dedicated page to drive traffic to. Not a single page that has a donation campaign. It’s poorly done.

This is the type of thinking that is detrimental to growth. I'll leave it at that. But I'm not going to tell you what to do with your money. If not through the collective, that money will be repurposed one way or another to the other programs anyway.

Correct. There’s no reason to do this. It’s not hard to set up separate things.

I could do this in my free time better.

That was my intention also.

it was the intention of a lot of people i know. of the ones ive asked in just the past 30 mins, id say 50% arent interested in this and 50% are on the fence. not good.

Another great example is if an alumnus of the men's rowing team wants to contribute to NIL for the current players. What they'll get 1% of it? .5%? Any?
