A lot of misinformation out there and misinformed people about GMAC acquisitions and the current state of the program. Enthusiasm should be improving not getting worse and that has indirect impacts on the ability to fundraise and move forward in a positive direction. Some very interesting tidbits in there….he seems frustrated tbh. I might be way off tho
that's if you believe the Minaya data. I'm skeptical of what gets shared on NIL deals. There's a lot of inflation in public numbers because it's in the interest of agents for that information to get out and be high.So my takeaway from this article is the following. Gerry had more money than Red, but less relative buying power. The increase didn’t keep up with the market.
Correct. The difference is Gerry is actually building a cohesive roster, that makes sense together. Red would just throw together talent, and hope it works. So my takeaway from this article is the following. Gerry had more money than Red, but less relative buying power. The increase didn’t keep up with the market.
I will say it until I'm blue in the face. Our Social Media Algorithms are not built to give us happy feel good news. It's build to piss us off and throw news that angers us. That includes sports news and even portal news. not that i can see unless im missing something. its bs if the donor cant pick the sport. So is there anyway to contribute solely to the men's basketball NIL?
Yea I don’t love that. I think it’s a misstep.not that i can see unless im missing something. its bs if the donor cant pick the sport.
Very few people here talk about the buying power isn't just the money you have to offer against competitors, but the credibility you have. Gerry would need almost double the funding as a third year head coach and the first time at the power conference level compared to the competitors to have the buying power necessary to really beat out the credibility of the programs he is going up against to land every top target at every position. They are acquiring to assemble the best overall roster possible to raise the floor of the team next season, not to assemble the roster trying to get the highest ranked star possible and not have money to assemble a good roster around the star. Balance. Show a proof of product with successful development and maximization of what you have, build up donations in the background, increase your spending power next season to retain and acquire higher of your type of targets at each position with increased credibility. So my takeaway from this article is the following. People can quote every little thing Goodman has said to make us look like clowns but Bivony saying legit great things about our International players people will never be heard,
It’s easy I just don’t donate to NILYea I don’t love that. I think it’s a misstep.
Good for youIt’s easy I just don’t donate to NIL
Every player we are currently involved with has more than one year left. I don't think that is a concidence.Very few people here talk about the buying power isn't just the money you have to offer against competitors, but the credibility you have. I think the center market is driving most of the increase. Miya also only uses a small subset of data in his model. If MM’s have a lot more it can throw the entire model out of whack.that's if you believe the Minaya data. I'm skeptical of what gets shared on NIL deals. I have no doubt there was a big increase in NIL but I'm not sure I buy 65%. Even on this board, there's a lot of inaccuracy on NIL deals with players.
Unless you have access to the clearinghouse AND rev share figures, it's impossible to know.

All I can think is that they want to have more options on where the money gets spent. If there is a lot of backlash they can always easily pivot for individual donors to commit money to a program.Yea I don’t love that. I think it’s a misstep.
I think they're losing a decent amount of $$ from the average fan who wants to donate to an individual sport. All I can think is that they want to have more options on where the money gets spent.
