I used to find myself rooting hard for the other Big East teams in non-conference matchups...This year, I don't seem to care whether they win or lose.

I almost feel like we're an independent at this point.

I still root the the BE it does feel a lot different. I just can't ever seeing myself pulling for Duke or NC though...well I did root for NC against Kentucky but so did the world.

I definitely notice when the ACC is playing now...

Certain schools I root for. Some I just can't. I can't root for UCONN, Pitt, or Nova. Tough to do. Also St.Johns with Lavin is a little annoying, plus I want to say I am rooting against God. lol

L'ville doesn't annoy me I can root for them. Marquette is a nice little team easy to root for. WV is always fun to watch with Huggins, I can root for them.

I root for whatever team will help our RPI with a win regardless of conference affiliation.

I mostly root for Big East teams in non-con play, even in some cases that would be considered sacreligious among SU fans which shall not be named here. I've encountered a contingent of fans here over the years who are of the belief that you never root for another team in the conference. I can't help but think I will have more in common with this group in the coming years.

Notre Dame (Big East) plays Maryland (ACC) today. Hope they both lose.

Amen, brother.

Actually, ali that statement should read: I root for whatever team will help our RPI with a win regardless of conference affiliation-as long as it isn't Georgetown because I would never root for them!

In my opinion, the BEST thing about the ACC move is the long term stability that it affords our athletic programs. The next best thing about the move is that G'town is about three seasons away from being a mid major program.

It is 4:20.....
