It was okay. Thought they should have drawn out Paige's shot and then the buzzer beater a little more. I didn't see Cooney. They didn't know Mal with the goggle eyes and I was sure that would be in there!

Did they have 1 shot of a Cuse player scoring? Don't think so and there were many vs Zags/UVA. The lydon block was 1/10 of a sec.

Meh. They should kill it. The lead up to it is overdone so that it can't live up to the hype.

The drama of the end of the game diminished its effect.

I thought it sucked. Wacky camera angles for all of the big plays. Felt they tried to squeeze more in and the championship game got two plays only.

Not sure I see why folks are disappointed. I counted eight total appearances for our team--more than any other year that I can remember except 2003. Six of them were positive, while two were (naturally) shots of UNC winning against us. They've got 63 winning teams through the whole thing, plus some agony of defeat (see, e.g., Texas vs. UNI) to plug in, and they still found time for a shot of Plugged-In Robie scrapping for a rebound while laid out on the floor. Of course they could have featured some other SU clips (G's windmill slam, the goggles, Cooney's dunk, G consoling Perrantes, Lydon's jillions of other blocks)--but overall I thought it was totally respectable. A decent set of clips after a really great ride. Let's look at that glass as half full.

That would have been sweet, for sure--and I'm not deleting that game off my DVR anytime soon. Might have eaten up too much time to give it the proper context in the OSM montage, though.
