One Shining Moment

As I wanted to mention to ssbriefcase and Obie9 tonight, but likely forgot, I think we are now in or at least approaching One Shining Moment territory. Hopefully it won't be a picture of a tearful CuseTroop after the next game, which might be rightful karma for the stuff some of you sick puppies enjoy looking at!

Anyhow, what do you folks think? Anything worthy yet? That monster Lydon alley oop and his Larry Johnsonesque reaction afterward? Maybe Otto doing his(?) antics? A shot of a facial expression of the 2nd winningest(in real life) coach of all time? Maybe an upcoming heroic Cooney 3?

Some may think such talk is premature, but I think sweet 16 gives us a pretty reasonable chance already, and one more win would nearly seal it.

True, I just can't imagine ever caring, but there are lots of popular things about which I don't care. I'm glad it makes people happy.

I don't make it a point to watch if a team I don't care for wins like UConn or Kentucky but I enjoy it otherwise.

I only watch the title game so we can get to "One Shining Moment!" The entire rest of the basketball season bows down to those 2 1/2 minutes.

Exactly!! I'm fantasizing about going far so that we can get multiple shots of SU players, and maybe even a shot of the cheerleaders. If we win it all, maybe a shot of articles saying we didn't belong in the tournament?

Yes!!! We are exactly on the same wave length, at least as far as OSM is concerned. Ha ha! Although we lost the 1996 game, I think they showed SU more than Kentucky in OSM.

But here's the thing you and I have to come to grips with. This tournament so far has been filled with so many buzzer beaters that I wouldn't blame CBS for filling up OSM with them. I guess that means we will have to have a buzzer beater as well!

once when I realized it sucked after some random championship game...

...and 2003 when I had everything taped (had to, because once it ended, I went running to a few local UES bars) and saw it the following day, then never again.
