Please recruit a Div 1 level Punter and Field Goal kicker. Watching our special teams is a roller coaster every week. Please get some consistency here, we have 4 kickers on scholarship and still cant get an ounce of consistency kicking or punting.

Krautman was good but its clear hes been dealing with chronic injuries for two + years now. Why not bring in another highly rated kid and redshirt him. Its clear to everyone who has eyes, Norton is not the answer.

We have an excellent punter and our kicker is hurt. I don't see any problem in this area. One of Norton's misses today wasn't his fault at all, the other was long and he missed a bit to the right.

An excellent punter? Krautman has chronic injuries, he hasnt been the same kicker in years.

I agree but in this case redshirting makes sense. Ross should be back and better than ever next year. He has been kicking injured since his Sophomore year. His surgery recovery is going great. If we can find a Top kicker get him...if not wait till next year to recruit one.

No reason we cant recruit a good kicker this year and redshirt him next year while Ross plays out his senior year. Norton is just to inconsistent to rely on and based on Ross's injury history you cant leave it to chance.

Just awaiting NCAA ok but it should be automatic. He isn't going to walk out for Senior Day...huge we get him back next season. Cuse can recruit a kicker either for '14 or '15.

Agree with tho se above who say Krautman is good and if healthy is all we need. Norton is better than I expected, and it don't think yesterday was his fault alone. Dixon does a good job IMO.

But one point you make is 100% true. We should be able to recruit TOP punters and kickers whenever we want to do so. This should be more of a priority.

Norton kicks off, and he's was consistently getting them to the endzone to start the year, don't know was going on yesterday, but that's not normal for him.

The kicker there had a crazy last second catch to get them in long fg range and then same kid hit the 54 harder immediately after

Thanks for the correction. Must have confused them as Norton out ONE GAME runnin from the heat. Still the all around kicking game is weak. Especially FGs. Even in practice they are line drives. .
