It seems unless Trevor Cooney is facing a slow inexperienced defender eg UND's freshman he has a hard time getting open. He needs an unsettled situation or a great pick. Cooney shoots best when he's squared up moving forward.
One of my favorite Pearl Washington plays was the penetration kick back. PW racked up a lot of assists that way. Many times he'd attract a defender from a teammate who was on the perimeter. I don't recall Tyler doing that.
