before another Final Four. Since 1985 when the tournament was expanded, there have been 224 1/2 seeds. 71 1/2 seeds have been in the final four, 38 1/2 seeds in the finals and 21 1/2 seeds champions. I guess if SU is a 1/2 seed this year we'll have a 32% chance of a Final Four, 17% chance of reaching the finals and 9.4% chance of a championship based purely on seeding.
