Syracuse, N.Y. — The National Junior College Athletic Association has selected the defending national champion Onondaga Community College men's lacrosse team as its top-ranked team in the 2015 preseason national poll that was released on Tuesday.

Onondaga currently holds the nation's longest winning streak with 87 consecutive wins and is coming off its sixth straight national title and eighth in the last nine seasons...

Not a lot of big names on the roster this year for OCC besides Bomberry and Oakley Thomas. Don't see much in the way of potential offensive help for next year unless Vaughn Harris gets his grades in order.

True Frosh I believe, no idea if SU has any interest obviously he wouldn't be eligible to transfer for another year and a half. SU could use some incoming O talent next year but I don't see much in the way of top end Sophmores at OCC that SU would be interested in.

I suspect Syracuse maybe active in the transfer market this offseason. Not sure theres another Galasso, Cannizzaro or Palasek out there but I suspect if theres an offensive player or two looking for a new home Desko and staff will be very receptive.

Men's Lacrosse Chasing History - Wins 92 Straight Game

The top-ranked Onondaga Community College men's lacrosse team moved one step closer to breaking the all-time NJCAA record for consecutive wins (97) after posting its 92nd straight win on Saturday after defeating nationally-ranked CCBC-Essex, 11-6, in Bel Air, MD. The game, which was originally scheduled to played at Essex, was moved to nearby Harford Community College due to unplayable field conditions.

With the win, Onondaga remains perfect at 5-0 while the third-ranked Knights suffer their first loss of the season and move to 5-1 overall.

The contest was Onondaga's most closely contested of the season as the five-goal difference was nearly 20 goals under Onondaga's average margin of victory (24.75).
