Our game at Boise State just got moved to a Friday, too. "Can you spell E-S-P-N, boys and girls?"

True, but the temperature at night is generally going to be cooler than during the day. Especially a sunny day.The sauna effect and daylight are not mutually exclusive. The only difference is that at night, there's a bit more relief when you walk out of the Dome. There's been plenty of Friday night scorchers though.
me neither.I love these Friday night openers -- I don't see the problem.
A great movie for 2nd graders. :rolling:Substitute teacher day! Wheel that TV in and throw on Saving Private Ryan
Whiner...I'll meet you at Gander Mountain in Watertown at 1pm.Hate Friday night games.
Ha! The OO jrs are going to this one. I'll be camping in ABay at the Blues Fest.Whiner...I'll meet you at Gander Mountain in Watertown at 1pm.
Are we thinking a seven o'clock kickoff. I hate 8 it's too late by the time I get home.
Gander Mountain might be closed by then...Whiner...I'll meet you at Gander Mountain in Watertown at 1pm.
Hate to get on my soap box like I have to do every year about this but why can't SU just leave well enough alone. Over the last decade +, SU has played a handful of Sat night home games. I don't see why they can't thrown the diehards a bone and keep the game on Saturday for once. Ok rant over. Anyway I hope SU will at least make this an 8pm kick to let the fans enjoy what should be great tailgate weather.

Boss would it be okay if I leave at Noon today? Problem solved.
ClemsonI just hope this is the only Friday night game, though I'm sure it won't be.
Clemson
I found that showing "Saving Ryan's Privates" can get you in trouble. Make sure you leave the sub with the right video.
Night games are always hotter in my experiences. The dome bakes all day and then 35,000 warm bodies are added. Even if the outside temperature lowers in the evening, the inside of the dome is not cooling off until well after the game is over.True, but the temperature at night is generally going to be cooler than during the day. Especially a sunny day.
It is more of a less worse thing...
