Opening credits of 6 pm Sportscenter...

How long do we give him until he is capable to play 15 minutes a game? I don't think it will happen. I don't ever remember seeing somebody this far away as a second year player. .

Lost can be taught. Looking completely lost as a big man is normal for younger players. I don't worry about that. The coaching staff can rectify those issues.

Look for glimpses of what is possible. That was a he!! of an offensive rebound. The kid may not know what he is doing but he is an athlete.

You can teach the kid the game; you cannot teach athleticism.

He won't play this year unless absolutely necessary (and he shouldn't given the fact every time this kid sees the floor, Rak is sitting).

If this kid can simply give us what McNeil gave us, I'll be more than happy...

One good screen makes you have game? Stephen Hawking could bust out with one good screen a game.

A dead guy under the basket could grab 1 rebound.

If a player looks lost they look lost. The thing with Chin is that he is further behind than Billy Celuck ever was. Running up the floor Chin looks confused.

I'm not just saying this to say it but I see what I see and anybody else with an unbiased opinion would say that unless there is extreme foul trouble "like there was for the ND game" he's not going to see minutes.
Only an idiot would take out one of the best centers in the country to put Chin in the game. But that doesn't mean Chin is incapable of contributing at this level. Give the kid some time before you get on your horse.

ive lauged everytime i watch it knowing the nd fans are still losing sleep about the moving pick.

And notice that Obokoh, the kid people (2-3zone, eg.) are saying "has no game", puts a great screen on the ND defender, allowing BJ to get to the rim.
Realistically, it should have been a foul on Obokoh. Based on the reffing we've seen in games this year, I'm not surprised they didn't call it.

Not sure I agree. Moving picks aren't illegal but initiating significant contact is. I think Chino just got in the guy's way but didn't initiate contact.

nah. watch the very last replay. he's clearly moving into the screen, his feet aren't set but whatever. its great either way.

what i can't figure out is why the whiners all go crazy when GBinje splits the double team. Did they think he walked?

It's OK to move your feet. That's my point.

Yes G was close to a travel. They must have thought he did.

I believe ND may whine because MG was fouled after splitting the double team. IMO, ND clearly reached in. I believe the reach-in was intentional, ie if you don't get the steal, then foul.
I think this started the whole play on bit. If the refs then called Chino for a moving screen that would have been incredible injustice.
One of the announcers mentioned it while watching the replay when the other wondered why/how BJ got so wide open.

lol, hey if it makes you feel better, yes he was moving. but happens all the time without a call (ask the Pitt players). Since you're so quick to point out missed calls ... you must have had a hemmorage when the Pitt player was traveling all over the city of syracuse!! Or wait ... did you miss that?
