Wish he would have been drafted a little higher, but have a feeling that he landed in a great spot in terms of opportunity, and that he'll end up being one of those hybrid TE / Y-TEs who puts up huge numbers, playing with a QB like that.

I’ll definitely be looking to snag him up in the later rounds of my two fantasy drafts.

Harbaugh apparently loves the kid and after Ladd McConkey, there aren’t really any proven pass catchers on that Chargers roster.

I expect him to separate himself from Tyler Conklin for the starting role (at least in terms of routes run & targets) and settle in as a top 3 option for Herbert.

Three TEs that can legally, and effectively, block down field and are capable pass catchers. Would be fun to see a little old school new school if the Chargers ran a RPO/Play action series out of a variable split 3 tight end set. We all know OG can split out wide.
