Oswego State Hoop team ranked #8 in preseason D-3 poll

A lot different than when I was in school. Couldn't even finish 8th in the SUNYAC and I don't think they won a game until they hired Mike Deane. Oswego had a good season last year but their coach, Adam Stockwell, left to become head coach at Hamilton. Their new coach, Jason Leone, a grad of CBA in Syracuse, has a pretty good resume so far.

Go Lakers. I knew some very good players who played and then quit or didn't even go out for the team back in my day. Not much support - it was all hockey back then. Nice to see they are getting better and hopefully a little more emphasis for all the sports. They used to hire phys-ed professors to coach most of the teams, some who were pretty clueless.
