Well I can say first hand it is packed up here for whiteout weekend. The Pressbox is reservation only! Had to reroute and go to Vonas for some dinner last night. Awesome place to eat if you are ever up here for anything. Hotels are pretty much booked solid also because of the youth hockey tournaments going on!

I went there from 88-92 and lived in Hart Hall all 4 years. Same room same roommate. As a frosh I was the scorekeeper for the Men's hoops team. I ran clock, fouls, score and even sang the national anthem once. During our game against Buff State - who was ranked #1 at the time I inadvertantly hit the horn on a Buff fast break. Refs called time and I apologized and the Buff coach went crazy and said he was going to protest the game.

Turns out to be a close game as we were down 2 and I apparently didn't stop the clock fast enough when we called timeout with 2 seconds left and the whole oswego bench was screaming at me. Jimmy (forgot his last name) missed a shot at half court as time expired and we lost. Needless to say I wasn't asked back my sophomore year.

Im alum as well did my 2 years, 3 semesters in Onondaga and then 1 semester in the brand new Town Houses, never went any hockey games though. Had alot of experiences of those long trips to Cuse for gamedays...good times!

His first year was my last year. You could tell at that time that he was going to be a pretty good coach.
