77 miles later and what felt like 200 hills. Topped out at 111 degrees....wanted to give up a handful of times but I kept on telling myself I can't give up. Mike Davis doesn't give up everyday. He wakes up at 4:00 am to make sure he can just breathe and live a normal life. Maybe next year I should ride prior to the ride and not take a month off. Positive note is I burned 3700 calories but if I step on the scale tomorrow and I actually gained weight I'm heading right to the bakery and eating all the cupcakes on the top shelf. Thanks for all that donated to the cause and supported my ride financially.

Thanks to everyone on the board that have helped with this. The Syracuse family won the right to selected my outfit for the ride so it was all orange.

Awesome rapping! But don't blow up the calories lost by eating cupcakes, man. Chow down on broccoli!

That's the problem....you ride for hours straight and then blow it in 10 minutes by eating half a pizza and whatever you can get your hands on.

Ive got the same jersey...wore it in ironman lake placid last year, now riding the back roads outside of Huntsville, Al in it :)

Hey man congrats on the ride. I didn't note it the first time around but send me a link and I'll contribute. Btw there's no way eating your face off after 77 miles is a bad thing.

Jus wash the cupcakes down with a nice 2x IPA. I read somewhere that the alcohol circumvents the calories and washes them from your system before they can take hold.

...or maybe I WROTE that somewhere.

Nicely done, Poc!

I purchased the whole kit on amazon individually since there wasn't a full kit that sadly actually matched. They all have different shades of Orange.

So, SUAD was in charge of designing that kit, is what you are saying? :p
