Interesting point and likely true. Nichols leaving Memphis at the 11th hour doesn't bode well for the AAC. They need Memphis to be good. Pastner has proven he can recruit but also that he is a subpar coach. How long before that effects recruiting? Memphis, UConn, Cinci are the headline bball teams they need them all to be good.

Oh, they are. The fball is a joke and the bball will continue to fade. UConn is the only team with any national cred bball wise. They have Ollie and history but how long can that hold out? The NCAA rightly gave that conference zero respect last season.
