OT: Bishop Grimes/Ludden

I knew Mike, coaches against him for years. Bunked with his son Joe during FR year of football camp at SJFC.

yea, he’s coached a few sports there. Think it’s just football now.

In 1984 my Mexico track team went to Bishop Grimes who had been the league champion for many years. We went with 13 guys on the team and won 72-71 to capture the title from them. That's all I know about them lol.

Anyone know anything about these schools? How’s their enrollment compared to past years - what is their reputation in the Syracuse area?

I’m thinking of possibly moving to the Syracuse area and curious about sending my kid to one of these places…..Thanks!

My only reference is early to mid 90's OHSL soccer. LaFayette just started soccer. With no football I ended up player soccer. We were turrrible. We somehow beat Grimes a couple times and Ludden kicked our ass. That's all I got.

He was my baseball coach, and history teacher. He also coached football and girls basketball when I was there. We used to lift weights with him after school.
