Saw this on ESPN the other day and thought it was a really cool story. Apparently when Braylon was a rookie in Cleveland, he agreed to give $10,000 each in college scholarships to 100 area 8th graders if they could graduate high school with over a 2.5 GPA and complete 15 hours of community service. 5 years later, 79 of them completed the criteria, and Braylon was a man of his word, shelling out $790,000 this year, as well as buying all the kids laptops and other supplies for school. The kicker is that his salary is "only" $1 million this year, so after taxes he is paying more than he made this year.

P.S. this story made me think of The Office episode with Scott's Tots
