Class story of day: Buccaneers announced today that they signed former Rutgers DT Eric LeGrand, who was paralyzed in 2010.

I was wondering the same thing. I assumed that they just allowed rules to be bent here, seeing how it was more a gesture than anything.

I am pretty sure this would have been the year he entered the draft anyway. As much as I am angry about how his leaving went down, Schiano did a great thing. The kid is on cloud 9. Hope the NCAA doesnt pull his scholly now, LOL

i might be the only jerk to think it, but to me it reeks of publicity stunt. it's a symbolic gesture to a kid that got hurt and i get that, but it's symbolic and that's it. if the kid didn't go to rutgers schiano wouldn't have done this. it is a coincidence.
