OT: Chicago Trip

Lou Malnati is the best pizza here by far. A great great hole in the wall Italian restaurant named La Scarola will make you a happy eater. I love Carmine's on Rush as well, part of the Rosebud restaurant family. Joe's Stone Crab is great for seafood. Chicago Cut has great steaks and is on the Chicago River, very cool place to go. Have a Cajun Bloody Mary at Ditka's, it's awesome and maybe Da Coach will be there

Okay I'm biased being a Blackhawks fan but if they are in town and you like hockey, take in a game at the United Center. Not quite the experience as old Chicago Stadium but it is still a good time.

I'm not a fan of the NBA but the Bulls might be in town as well. I imagine the cost of an NBA game though is > a hockey game.

I have to be in Chicago next week for business- we have just opened a new plant there and we are rotating there conceivably for the next year until they get a management team hired and trained. I have only been to Chicago one other time, so I don't know all the good places to eat and visit. Any suggestions from those out there that know the city well?
lived there 5 years. Carsons ribs/steakhouse (get the au gratin sides)! Man oh man miss that place.

They guys have everything else covered. But don't let the fact that's its a chain stop you from going there for deep dish, Pizzeria Uno or Due are a great place to go. And finally this place is a fun place to check out for casual dining:
