Citrus Bowl renovations will include:

  • Newly constructed lower bowl
  • Vibrant open-air exterior facade
  • Expanded 360-degree main concourse
  • New lower bowl seating with six more inches of leg room in each row
  • Club level with both enclosed and open-air seating
  • 10,000-square-foot party deck
  • Suites on west side
  • Multiple LED video displays
Sounds like a lot of stuff we want to do to the dome. That being said, for the money, prob better to take the other money, pool it together, and build a new stadium.

Exactly, even more so, when you think that the real estate that the Dome sits on and the real estate where the new stadium would be built. I just don't see the Dome being renovated as a viable option and I don't think we will see it happen for many reasons

The Citrus Bowl is not in a great location...however, maybe it is a long range strategy to get them more competitive in Playoff System and a landing spot for the Jaguars.

Much needed. I went to the Capial One Bowl this year for S Car/Wisc and I was surprised at how dipalidated it was. I'm sure the rain made it look extra dreary that day but I couldn't understand how that was a top tier bowl. It's not like its old but charming (like the Rose Bowl or Michigan Stadium) - it just seemed old.

Never heard any Jags rumors. Citrus Bowl renovations honestly have little to no added value to anything specific. I'm assuming they will target playoff and national championship football games in addition to ACC/SEC Championship games.

Orlando City Soccer is getting upgraded to an MLS franchise, but they are building a new stadium for soccer only purposes.

Orlando City SC has great support for a 2nd division soccer team so I think big things are on the horizon for them in MLS. Soccer is the future people. They will be a very successful MLS franchise.
