OT: Could someone who follows NYS HS Hoops

I remember reading a while ago a long island team (ranked #10 girls in the country at the time?) had agreed to play in the Dick's thing on ESPN. Just poor timing that it is same day as Federation. Must have been South Shore.

It sounds that federation rules prohibit playing in 2 post season tournaments but the Federation is allowing 2 teams to play in both with them being 4 days apart. Wonder if other teams weren't allowed to do it before this exemption and/or others turned down some invites because it was a rule???? Just guessing.

It will be interesting to see what kind of agreement will be worked out, if any. I think if the two teams had to choose, it would probably be bad not to play in the Federation tournament, but I don't see how they would pass up an opportunity to play on TV. I'm sure something will be figured out today. If Wings does play Friday night they will be an interesting match up for Shen. They have the 6' 10" kid who will be attending Georgetown. Shen has some football type players who play inside but no one close to 6'10". Should be a good game. Shen is playing well.

Is Huerter D-1?

Is Huerter D-1?
Both are with the younger being the better player. Both will probably go to prep school after they finish their high school careers to develop further. Which level of D-1 they end up will probably be determined by how much stronger they become. I'm sure Kevin raised a few eyebrows this past weekend with back to back 25 point games.
