OT - Derrick Rose getting sued

This is the dumbest thing i've heard in a long time.

At least it made me smile on whats been an otherwise dismal day. Thanks! If our society condones such litigious behavior(which has played a big part in screwing up our medical system amongst other things), I'm not going to find fault with an individual trying to play the game too. At least it brings to light how ridiculous the system is, and might be responsible for change.

Speaking of change, I once asked on a board if I could sue ladies night discrimination. Turns out where I now live, someone did, and won, multiple times.

False. This is swill proffered by the AMA, whose motto is "We are gods, how dare you question us.") and liability insurers. The vast majority(6/7) of medical malpractice goes unreported. .http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/06/h...nds-most-hospital-errors-unreported.html?_r=0
The vast majority of suits that are brought are dismissed. http://thedailyrecord.com/2012/06/03/ama-most-med-mal-cases-dismissed/
The vast majority of medical malpractice is committed by a small (20-25%) of physicians. http://www.vanosteen.com/news/medical-malpractice.asp The abject failure of the medical profession to police itself and to allow cross boarder access to doctors disciplinary records is the largest problem leading to litigation.

Wow. Just wow. I am going to counter sue that man because I hurt my face laughing so hard.

Some guy is suing his gym for "ladies-only hours", too. Good for him.

Well if i could only go to the gym at certain hours AND there was only one gym in my area i'd be kind of upset if those certain hours happened to be ladies-only.

In one of my classes we learned that things like ladies nights out or ladies get half off drinks or etc. were technically made illegal in New York because of discrimination but that after a few years most businesses just reverted back to them, and the state didn't really do anything. Correct me if I am wrong.
